Robert G Williamson

Robert G. Williamson, age 82, passed away at his Columbus residence on Monday, November 26, 2018. Robert served in the Army and was stationed in Germany 1953-1956 where he drove tanks. Following his military service, he started his construction career and ultimately supervised construction of single family homes. After retirement, he continued to stay active by working on a variety of construction projects at his home and for his friends and family. He was frequently invited to help family and friends with home improvements and always made the time to help. Robert and his late wife Donna were on a bowling team, in fact, Robert had several perfect "300" games during his lifetime. He and Donna also enjoyed spending time together at the VFW. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Donna J. Williamson in 2004. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter: Sherrie (Joseph) Thompson; grandchildren: Crystal (Logan) Kines, Heather (Javier) Ortiz, Amber King and Brooke King; great grandchildren: Kylie age 10, Levi age 5, Charles age 15, Jayla age 9, Ava age 5, Tori age 8, Peyton age 1, Carter age 7 and Caleigh age 3.
