Quentin Smith, age 16, a very outgoing boy who loved to joke around with people, passed away, tragically, Monday, December 4, 2017 at Mt Carmel West. He enjoyed basketball and football. Attended West High School. Preceded in death by: Maternal grandfather: Cephus Andrews.Survived by: Mother: Lisa White. Father: Willie Smith Jr. Sister: Jozette Mahan. Brothers: Derek Johnson and Shawn Fort. Nieces: Tye and Zakyiah Mahan. Maternal grandmother: Vendetta White. Paternal grandparents: Josephine Smith and Willie Smith. Friends may call at Jerry Spears Funeral Home with Crematory, 2693 W. Broad St., Saturday, 12-2 PM where service will follow at 2:00 PM. The family is requesting donations to help assist with funeral expenses. Donations can be made on the website at www.jerryspearsfuneralhome.com.
