A friend of James Allen, author of a tiny & famous little inspirational book "As A Man Thinketh" once wrote, "He overawed us all a little because of his appearance, his gentle conversation, and especially because he went out to commune with God on the hills before dawn." He wrote:

"Tempest -tossed souls, wherever you may be, under whatever conditions you may live, know this-in the ocean of life the isles of blessedness are smiling, and the sunny shore of your ideal awaits your coming....."

Nick always brought a smile to my face. He was there for me in every emergency when Dale was dying. We have known each other for over 60 years. I wish we had more time to laugh and remember. RIP
