Mary Bell

Mary Florence “Cookie” Bell died suddenly on Wednesday, January 24th, 2018 at Mt Carmel West Columbus, Ohio. Cookie was born December 17th, 1942 in Coshocton, Ohio to Kenneth Frederick and Sarah Kathryn Kestler Grier. Mary was the most amazing selfless mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was always full of fun and laughter. She enjoyed car rides with the music loud and loved to sing along. Her hobbies included quilting, flower gardening, dancing and socializing with family and friends. Mary graduated from Coshocton High School and then continued her education at Columbus Beauty College. She was a licensed cosmotologist and also worked for Pretty Products of Coshocton. Many remember her sunny disposition as a waitress with Edie Ryans restaurant for many years before retirement. Survivors include - Grandson Michael Mason-Em, granddaughters Starr Boggess, and Skye Boggess all of Columbus Ohio. Brother Kenneth Grier of West Lafayette, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Bell, daughter Mary Michelle Mason, son Matthew Mason, her parents Kenneth and Kathryn, brothers Jerome, Jeffrey, David C and Frederick. Per Marys' wishes there will be no calling hours or services at this time. Her nieces are planning a celebration of life with family and friends Summer 2018.
