Mr. Lian Hmun Thang was born on 05/05/1977 at Thau Village, Chin State, Myanmar, which is near the border on India and Burma. He passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital on May 30, 2019 at 12:55 PM.

His parents are Pu Chan Bil and Pi Mang Iang. He was the third oldest child among 9 siblings. He came to USA in June, 2008 from Malaysia. He settled in Columbus, Ohio until he died. He was survived by his parents and six siblings. Two brothers and one sister are living in USA. He was a faithful church member of Emmanuel Chin Baptist Church, Columbus, Ohio. He was a beloved member there until he passed away.

His funeral service will be held at Emmanuel Chin Baptist Church, Columbus, Ohio in June 1, 2019. He will be buried at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio on June 1, 2019.
