Lafayette Damron Obituary

Lafayette Damron, age 58, lost his battle with cancer on Saturday, November 3 in Kermit, West Virginia. Preceded in death by his wife, Linda Damron; son, Gary Damron; brothers: Wayne "Tom", Tony and Jim Damron; parents Wayne and Madelyn Damron. He was the toughest person his children knew. Heaven gained a real soldier. He will be truly missed by many, including his daughter, Jennifer Thomas (James Yates); his son, Brian Brobst Sr; grandchildren: Anthony, Joshua, Ty'Shawn, Kirsten, Brian Jr. Mickayla "Little Bitt", Taleigha, Kourtney and Emma; his five loving sisters: Judy (Johnny) Spaulding, Amanda (Homer) Messer, Linda (Owen) Hinkle, Sheri (Terry) Bragg, Debbie (Donald) Reynolds; many nieces and nephews and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W. Broad St., Friday, 4-7 PM where service will follow at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to help with funeral expenses.
