Kurtis Taynor Obituary

Kurtis E. Taynor, age 37, a loving dad, fiance, son, brother and friend, passed away, unexpectedly, on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at his residence. Kurtis was a big kid who always had a joke and made people laugh. He was a selfless person who always thought of others before himself. He loved his family so much, and those big blue eyes that always brightened up a room, will be missed. Kurtis was an avid Buckeye fan and was employed with Steve's Basement and Drains. Survived by: Children: Michael, Ethan, Mikila, Dylan and Jayden. Fiance: Nicole. Mother: Christine (Patrick) Schmitz. Father: Harold (Beverly) Taynor. Sisters: Wendy (Kevin) Lupton, Niki (Steve) Lord and Stacy Thivener. Brothers: Todd Burke and Scott (Molly) Thivener. Special thanks to the Feather family, his recovery family as well as numerous other family and friends. Friends may call at Cypress Wesleyan Church, 377 Alton Darby Creek Rd., Friday, 5-8 PM, then after 9:30 AM Saturday, where service will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday. Pastor Rick Rucker officiating.
