Jimmy Gould Obituary

Jimmy Allen Gould, 72, of Cambridge, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at 7:14 pm at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio surrounded by his loving family.

Jimmy was born in Alton, West Virginia, on August 7, 1946 to Ocie (Powers) and Elmer Gould. He was a resident of Buckhannon, West Virginia and Wakeman, Ohio most of his life. He was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company Lorain, Ohio, Local UAW 425. He was employed there for 30 years before his retirement in 2005. After retirement they moved to Cambridge, Ohio to follow his dream of having a family farm. He was also a veteran of the United States Army and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7576, Vermilion, Ohio.

Those who knew and loved Jimmy would describe him as someone who loved his family, enjoyed making jokes, was kind and genuine. Jimmy always took time to make those he cared about feel special, he also loved to be outdoors and was an avid hunter.

Preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Ocie Gould; brothers: Gene Powers, Elmer Gould Jr, Franklin Gould and Gary Joe Gould; nephews: Jerry Gould and Timothy Rice; grandson, Jacob Thomas Byrd.

Survived by his wife of nearly 27 years, Victoria Helen Spinney Gould of Cambridge, Ohio;  daughters: Kim Gould of Bowling Green, Ohio, Angie Gould of Rock Cave, West Virginia, Karen (Tom) Byrd of Bloomfield, Kentucky, Kelly (Jim) Winebrenner of Norwalk, Ohio and MaryAnn Petry of Norwalk, Ohio; son, Robert Kerr of Cambridge Ohio; sister, Rosalie (Willard) Rice of Norwalk, Ohio; brothers: John (Anna) Gould of Rock Cave, West Virginia and Danny (Trish) Gould of French Creek, West Virginia; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
