Jesse Thompson

Jesse J. "Pappy" Thompson, age 77, of Circleville passed away October 23, 2019 at Grant Medical Center. Jesse was a member of the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church. He worked in the drywall business for many years. He loved Tommy's Diner, camping and John Wayne. Jesse could always make people laugh and smile. Preceded in death by parents: Jack Thompson and Dorothy Wallace; wife, Marion Thompson; grandson, Joseph Thomas; great great granddaughter, Shyann Ward; brothers: Bill Thompson, Jack Thompson, Jim Thompson; sisters: Lillian Thompson Wrightsel and Dorothy Thompson Sprague; baby dog Sassy. Survived by children: Hazel Ward, Shiela (Mike) Ward, Tim Thompson, Alberta (Jim) Thompson and Jessie (Susan) Thompson; 14 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren; brothers: Louie Thompson, Donny Thompson (Dina), Jerry Thompson, Paul (Lynn) Humphrey; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Sunday, 2-6 PM where service will be held 10:00 AM Monday. Interment Alton Cemetery.
