Inky always brought out a smile and a laugh from all those around him, just being in his presence. When I first met him at Hickory, I immediately questioned the club I just joined. A few weeks later, Inky and I shared a cart together (among other things) and won the first men's event of the season. It was on that day when I realized one should never judge a man by the cover he wears, but by the character of the soul beneath it. I knew I had met someone special that day with a heart that cannot be matched. Nobody loved and lived life more than Inky did!
A void now exists in our lives that cannot be filled or replaced, and I wouldn't want it to be. Thank you Inky for being you - and only you. May you rest in peace my friend.

Jason and I recently had a conversation about when we first met and how funny it was that we didn’t actually like one another. They say when you go through a difficult time in your life you find out who your true friends are and Jason was a great friend to me in a time when I needed it most. He was supportive, encouraging, and always there to make me laugh. I got to return that favor to him over the past fewmonths and we’ve become such great friends. I looked forward to my visits to Columbus because I knew I would get to hang out with him, which no matter what you are doing with him it ends up being an adventure or at least filled with a lot of laughter. I will miss him terribly and going back to Columbus will never be the same. I wish I had one more opportunity to tell him again how grateful I am for his friendship and how much I appreciated him. Jason was always so full of life, always willing to help anyone (even a complete stranger, although I am not sure he considered anyone a stranger, but more of a friend he hadn’t met yet), and just an all-around great person. Godspeed Jason, you will forever be in my heart!

To all of Jason's family, and to all of his many, many, fellow friends, let us all share the great memories of the times we spent with him, the golf, concerts, Steeler games, lunches and dinner gatherings at his house, to just name a few. I, like all of you reading this, will miss him terribly and will sense the void in our lives created by his leaving so soon forever. I will never forget when, as a new member at Hickory Hills, he and Jeff Sines invited a friend and myself to play a round with them. I'm sure all of you can remember the first time you met him as well. And how we all benefitted from the friendships that developed from those first meetings. Rest easy BIg Fella!
From your little fella buddy, Rich Trimbur.
