Hubert Hickman

Hubert (Dick) L. Hickman 75, passed away on January 15, 2019 following a long term illness. He resided at Mill Run Care Center in Hilliard, Ohio for the last 15 months. Dick Hickman was born in Hardin County to the late Robert E. Hickman Sr. and Edith Wood Hickman. He was a fun loving Uncle who loved to tease his nieces and nephews. He did not have any children of his own, but he loved children and animals and spent much of his life on a farm in Marion, Ohio. His nieces and nephews loved to visit the farm and ride the horses. Uncle Dick will be forever in our memories.

Hubert Hickman was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his older brother Robert (Buck) Hickman Jr. and sister-in-law Sue Hickman, and his youngest sister Pamela Jo Blair, and brother-in-law Larry Blair. He is survived by his sister, Darlene Hickman and his brother Douglas Hickman. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews, their spouses, and many great nieces and nephews. We will all cherish our time with him.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life at a later date. We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to Mill Run Care Center staff as well as Ohio Health Hospice for taking such good care of him his last 15 months.
