Gladys Caudill

Gladys M. Caudill, born June 8, 1945, passed away on November 29, 2018. Preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Lexie Simpson. Surviving her are beloved husband, Chuck, and adored son, Jay (Tracy) Evans. She also leaves 5 sisters, 2 grandsons, 6 granddaughters, 3 great-granddaughters and 4 great -grandsons. She taught school for thirty years, 25 of those at Richard Avenue Elementary. After retiring, she spent the remainder of her life dedicated to our veterans. She belonged to The American Legion Auxiliary #532, where she served faithfully. Most of all she was a life-long Christian. She currently belonged to New Horizons UMC. Through God's grace, she is now reunited with Him in Paradise. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W. Broad St.,Monday, 12:30-1:30 PM where service will follow at 1:30 PM. Pastors Nancy Day-Achaur and Danny Dahl officiating. Private burial at Obetz Cemetery, at a later date. A memorial luncheon will follow the service for family and friends.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Gladys Caudill Education Scholarship, American Legion, Don Gentile #532, 1571 Demorest Rd., Columbus, OH, 43228.
