It is with great sorrow that the family of Dean "Crappaw" Fenner announces his passing on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Friendship Village, after 93 fully lived years. He lived by the motto "Seek Happiness". He grew up and worked on his families farm, worked on the railroad, served in World War II as a paratrooper stationed in Japan, and worked for The Columbus Dispatch as an independent contractor for 50+ years. He loved playing guitar, jazz, gardening, Boston Terriers, cooking, traveling, visiting, watching classic movies, and hanging out with his coffee guys.
Dean was preceded by former wife and dear friend Dorothy "Little Darlin;" Williams, and son-in-law Gerald "The Lug" Mullett. Left to honor and treasure his life is former wife and lifelong pal Mary Jane Fenner, daughter Linda "Lovely" Mullett, daughter Jennifer Lash and son-in-law Jonathan Lash, granddaughter Kimberly Mullett, grandson-in-law Daniel Colvin, stepdaughter and good friend Tammy Snyder.
A Celebration of Dean Fenner's life will be held on Monday, December 10th at 2 PM. The service will be held at the gravesite, located at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W Broad St, Galloway, OH 43119.
