Richard C Jones

Beloved husband, father and uncle, Richard C. Jones, age 89 resident of Sun City West, AZ since 1960, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from Hospice in the Valley in Surprise, AZ.

Richard was born and raised in Columbus, 0hio where he attended West High School. He was a veteran of the US Navy, and served in WWII. He was a member of the VFW. He was a retired electrician and member of IBEW Local #640 In the Phoenix area of Arizona. He also worked in the states Ohio and California.

Preceded in death by his daughter Vicki Jones; parents Guy and Victoria Jones; sister Elnora and her husband Clarence Nicholson; infant brother William and brother Charles Jones; brother-in-law Bill Henery; sister-in-law June Baird.

Survived by loving wife of 69 years, Louise and son Craig; sisters-in-law Faye Collins and Martha Jones; numerous nieces and nephews, other family and friends.

Friends and family may call at Jerry Spears Funeral Home, 2693 W. Broad St. Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, August 19, 2017. Visitation 11:00 AM, celebration of life service at 12:00 Noon, Interment Sunset Cemetery. Rev. Pat Self officiating.
