Paul Quick

Paul Emil Quick, age 66, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Mt Carmel West. Graduate of Mansfield Senior High School, Ohio University (Psychology) and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Paul was a trusted and loyal funeral director /embalmer for 38 years with The Jerry Spears Funeral Home, retiring in 2012. He touched so many people's lives with his caring, compassionate and knowledgeable work in the funeral service industry. Member of both the Ohio Funeral Directors Association (OFDA) and the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA). Paul was a guy who was great with people, he developed relationships with everyone that he met, and he was very active in many local civic organizations. Preceded in death by: Parents: Dr. Carl and Ethel Quick. Brother: Carl Quick Jr. Survived by: Daughter: Emily (Juan) Quick-Badillo. Grandchildren: Aiden, Rylee and Jaxon. Brothers: Dr. Leonard (Kimberly) Quick and George (Kathy) Quick. Mother of his daughter: Paula Quick. Nieces and nephews: Elizabeth (Erik) Maso, George Quick and Ashley (Anish) Parikh. Great niece: Elsa Maso. Friends may call at Jerry Spears Funeral Home with Crematory, 2693 W. Broad St., Thursday, 4-7 PM where service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday.
