I know this is very belated, but I just learned of Norm's passing this week. Norm and I served together on our first Coast Guard Cutter back in 1987-88. We were very close friends and had a lot of great times as young sailors in NYC and various ports of call.. I was so sad to hear of his death. My deepest sympathies go out to all his family. Norm was a memorable character who made a lasting impression on my life.
