Nicholas A. Cenci, 69, well-loved father, friend and lifelong resident of Bexley and the Eastside, died at home July 6, 2017. A good man with a tireless work ethic and uncommon devotion to his clients and friends, Nick owned and operated service stations in Bexley from 1975 to 2007. Born on January 12, 1948, to Dominic and Mary DeJohn Cenci, he attended Aquinas High School and graduated Bishop Hartley ’66. After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, he began his career as a mechanic in 1973. Nick is survived by his son Nicholas A. (Natalie) Cenci III, daughter Lauren (Mik) Koenig, granddaughters Alexandra and Madeline Cenci, grandsons Cooper, Ryder and Graham Koenig, sister Frances Cenci Harris, aunt Jane Cenci, nieces Cathie Shade, Barbie Arp, and Jacci Rollins, step-children Lona Daley, Edward Daley, and Jill Cullinan, many extended family members and his devoted dogs, Quincy and Lolly. A celebration of Nick’s life, to include his sister Patricia Cenci who passed in February 2016, will be held at TAT Ristorante Di Famiglia, 1210 S. James Rd., on Sunday, July 23rd from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Arrangements completed at Jerry Spears Funeral Home with Crematory, 2693 West Broad St, Columbus.
