Gage Slagle

Gage Walter Slagle, age 17, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at his residence. Gage was a guy who would always help anyone he knew who was in need and he had an enormous heart. An extremely creative, intelligent, artistic, funny and curious person, there was never anything that he would not explore or try to figure out, whether it be fixing something that seemed impossible or just trying to be adventurous. Survived by: Parents: Jim and Laura Slagle. Sister: Caitlyn Slagle. Maternal grandparents: Ruth and Jerry Earl and Larry and Margaret Biller. Paternal grandparents: Jim and Sue Slagle. Paternal great grandmother: Nancy Walter. Aunts and uncles: Kevin (Celia) O'Connor, Jeremy (Beata) Earl, Amee Earl, Heidi (Bryan) French, Ty Slagle, Scott Slagle. Special friends: Cassidy, Tyrese, Christian and Reese. Numerous other family and friends. There will be a gathering of friends at Jerry Spears Funeral Home with Crematory, 2693 W. Broad St., Friday, 5-7 PM with memorial service to follow at 7:00 PM. Pastor Danny Vanscoy officiating. In lieu of flowers, family has asked that donations be made to the National Association of Mental Illness (NAMI), 1225 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH, 43215.
