Beatrice Elgin

Beatrice H. (Hagman) Elgin, age 89, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away, suddenly and unexpectedly, on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Mt Carmel East. She was a longtime member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church as well as the Women's Club. Retired from U.A.W. Beatrice was also a two time cancer survivor. Preceded in death by: Husband: Charles J. Elgin. Daughter: Barbara Carpenter. Parents: Robert E. and Maurine Hagman. Brothers and sisters: Robert Hagman Jr., Elizabeth "Betty" Spencer, Richard Hagman, Lorene Hagman and Steven Hagman. Survived by: Sons: Patrick (Vicki) Elgin, James Elgin, Charles R. (Sharon) Elgin and Kevin (Krista) Elgin. Grandchildren: James J. Elgin, Amanda (Chris) Hammond and Kevin R. (Mylene) Elgin II. Great grandchildren: Audrey Hammond, Caroline and Wyatt Elgin. Brothers and sisters: Donald (JoAnn) Hagman, Dorothy Shoemaker and Dr. Francis "Tom" (Sue) Hagman. Numerous other family and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Woodlands of Columbus.
